First sermon to Gaangji
Prannath Leelaamrit - Chapter 16
After having a divine vision, Devchandra stopped attending the Bhaagwat narration sessions. A question arose in his mind: To whom should I impart this transcendental knowledge of the Supreme Abode?
Gaangji also used to go to the Shyam temple to listen to discourses. One day, Devchandra met Gaangji on the way. Devchandra began to tell him about the eternal Supreme Abode right there on the road.
A water carrier was on her way to fetch water when she saw these two men talking. She passed by them twice more, and they were still talking. Astonished, she wondered if their feet and minds never grew tired.
Unable to contain her curiosity, she said, "Why don't you two sit down and talk?"
Her interruption made them aware of their physical bodies.
From then on, they began discussing the Supreme Abode every day. Gaangji became convinced that this was some kind of transcendental knowledge.
One day, Gaangji asked Devchandra, "Since we both used to listen to the Bhaagwat Puran together, where did you acquire this knowledge?"
When Devchandra realized that Gaangji was worthy of this profound knowledge, he began to share some insights with him. As Gaangji's curiosity intensified, Devchandra recounted his entire life story.
Overjoyed at hearing all this, Gaangji respectfully welcomed Devchandra into his home and considered him a manifestation of Shri Raj. Devchandra began to give spiritual discourses at Gaangji's house. Gradually, the news spread, and many people started coming to listen to these discourses.
