Introduction to the family of Meheraj

Prannath Leelaamrit - Chapter 19

Meheraj was born on a Sunday, on the fourteenth day of the dark half of the month of Bhaadra in 1675 V.S. (1618 A.D.). His father was Keshav Thakur, and his mother was Dhanbai. Meheraj possessed the soul of Indraavati of the Supreme Abode.

Meheraj dedicated his body, mind, and wealth to his spiritual master, Devchandra. After Devchandra, Shri Raj assumed the body of Meheraj and continued to perform the divine sport.

Meheraj had four brothers: Harivansh, Shyaamal, Govardhan, and Uddhav. All of the brothers except Uddhav were older than Meheraj. Harivansh Thakur's wife, Meghbai, possessed the divine soul of Harakhbai of the Supreme Abode. Shyaamal's wife was named Sita. After the incident in Habshaa, Shyaamal gained faith in Prannath. Govardhan's wife was named Padmaa.

Shyaamal had two sons: Prem and Vishnu. Prem recognized the true form of Prannath. Through his influence, his wife, Savira, also joined the Sundarsaath community. Vishnu was fortunate enough to see Devchandra, but he could not join the Sundarsaath community. Vishnu's wife was named Poorbai. Their son was named Pitaambar, and their daughter-in-law was named Ratanbai. Ratanbai continued to serve Prannath in Panna, and her two sons, Kanji and Nanji, also became devoted to him.

Meheraj's wife was named Phoolbai. She possessed the divine soul of Amlaavati within her and was fully devoted to Prannath.
